Jenny Owen Youngs Stops By Paste Magazine For Live Session

Nettwerk recording artist Jenny Owen Youngs made a special stop by Paste Magazine's office in Atlanta for a live acoustic session, including tracks from her latest full-length album Transmitter Failure, fan favorite "Fuck Was I" and the Spring Break Tour Theme Song. Jenny recently released a special live EP, the "Last Person EP," in conjunction with her March Spring Break Tour with Bess Rogers and Allison Weiss. Grab it HERE. Jenny Owen Youngs New EP And March Tour Dates!

Jenny Owen Youngs returns with a special EP just in time for her March Spring Break Forever tour with Bess Rogers and Allison Weiss. The "Last Person EP" features the album version of the track from Jenny's latest full-length, Transmitter Failure, as well as 5 alternative versions of songs from the album. The live recordings of "Led To The Sea," "Start + Stop," "Secrets," and "Last Person" were recorded by Dan Romer in Brooklyn, and "Dissolve (The Lovely Light re-think): was arranged and recorded by Saul Simon-MacWilliams at the Lovely Light (Brooklyn) and performed by Saul and Jenny. Jenny Owen Youngs will be sharing the stage with William Fitzsimmons starting next week as she continues to tour in support of her recent release, Transmitter Failure.

As she prepares for the 23-city trek, Jenny is creating quite a buzz, gracing the cover of Music Connection this month and being featured in Paste Magazine's special "Best of What's Next" issue.

Nearing the end of her 23-city trek across the country, Jenny Owen Youngs is still going strong. Her sophomore album, Transmitter Failure was released on Nettwerk this week and her live shows are peaking the interest of fans and critics alike. USA Today’s Pop Candy blogger says in her weekly rap up, “Best music I heard: If live shows count, I'll mention Jenny Owen Youngs.”

Youngs recently revealed a brand new video for the track “If I Didn’t Know,” which was directed by Shervin Lainez. The video was premiered on PerezHilton.com and can now be viewed on Nettwerk’s YouTube page.
