On October 11th, Grammy-nominated Morgan Page will release In The Air, a six song EP of the lead single from his forthcoming 2012 studio album. In The Air, a collaboration between Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT and featuring Angela McCluskey on vocals, will include several versions of the title track, in addition to remixes by Hardwell and Hard Rock Sofa.
The Hardwell remix of “In The Air” is a punchy, synth-sonic, luscious reworking of its original. Hardwell brings rhythmic nuances with tickling percussions that perfectly compliment the raspy, seductive vocal charm of McCluskey. Russian collective, Hard Rock Sofa adds their signature style to the track, serving up an edgy, driving progressive house touch.
“In The Air" entered into the Top 10 (#9) on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart last week. The track has exploded since its debut, steadily selling more than 1,500 copies a week and remaining the highest rated record at AOL Radio.
“In The Air," the first single from Grammy-nominated recording artist Morgan Page's upcoming album, breaks into the Top 10 (#9) on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart this week. The track, a collaboration between Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT and featuring Angela McCluskey on vocals, has exploded over the past 4 weeks, steadily selling more than 1,500 copies a week since its release and remaining the highest rated record at AOL Radio.
This is not Page’s first appearance on the charts, but his fifth consecutive Top 10 Billboard success. Believe--Page’s 2010 follow up to Elevate, which featured break-out single "Longest Road" and fellow chart topper "Call My Name"--continues to be a fixture on the iTunes Dance Albums chart with two Top Ten Billboard Dance Hits: “Fight For You” and “Strange Condition.”
Following their Grammy nominations, Nettwerk Records is proud to share that Morgan Page and BT are also nominated in several categories at this year’s International Dance Music Awards (IDMAs).
Previously nominated for ‘Best Breakthrough Artist (Solo),’ Page has also garnered his second nomination in the category of ‘Best Progressive Track.’ This year, the nomination is for the first single from his 2010 full-length, Believe - “Fight For You.” After a career spanning 15+ and the most recent success of his latest full-length These Hopeful Machines, visionary artist BT is nominated for two prestigious awards – ‘Best American DJ (North America)’ and ‘Best Producer.’

Set for release Nov. 9th, Morgan Page is back with a new single, “I’ve Had Friends,” co-produced by Dave Dresden and featuring vocals by Jan Burton - best known for his work with Gabriel & Dresden. “I’ve Had Friends” takes a more aggressive turn than previous singles from Page’s 2010 album release, Believe. The track focuses on raw male vocals and forceful, driving synths. On remix duty we see Grammy-nominated German producer Jean Elan take the reigns for a smashing big room remix that will certainly deliver the goods, a tough glidey electro-infused affair by Andy Caldwell, and a haunting indie mix by Cicada featuring additional guitars and vocals that take the original to new heights. Rounding out the remix package are remixes from Sylaxia (a new endeavor by Tommie Sunshine) and a remix from Dave Dresden’s latest project – Dresden & Johnston.
Sitting comfortably at #7 on the Billboard Dance Charts this week, (right between Rhianna and Lady Gaga no less) Morgan Page turns up the heat with his brand new video for lead single "Fight For You."
With one GRAMMY-nominated song and two International Dance Music Awards (IDMA) nominations in 2008, DJ and producer Morgan Page has emerged as one of the top rising talents in electronic music today. The hotly sought after Producer and Remixer has developed a style all his own, merging punchy beats with strong melodies and song structure that connects with dance music veterans and newcomers alike. With over 100 commissioned remixes to date, Page’s prolific discography includes recent beatmaking for La Roux, Madonna and Katy Perry.
Now Page is ready to debut his latest single “Fight For You”, from the all new full-length album set for release Spring 2010. The track is yet another display of Morgan’s skilled use of driving synth lines and vocal harmonies that glides through pulsing four-to-the floor beats.
The sneak preview dropped yesterday on underground electronic music site RCRD LBL, who boasted the song “equally suitable for the basement at 2 am or the best dancepop soundtrack MTV ever hopes to cull”. Available for download here, the track will hit iTunes & Beatport September 8, including remixes by Sultan & Ned, Beltek, DJ Dan and Bass Kleph.

"Easy Come Easy Go" is the first single from New Wild Everywhere and easily the most upbeat and up-tempo track to ever come from Toronto indie folk/rock darlings Great Lake Swimmers. Out April 3, New Wild Everywhere is the follow up to 2009's critically acclaimed, Juno and Polaris-prize nominated album Lost Channels. Their fifth album in just under a decade, this new collection of 12 tracks reveals a depth and maturity previously only hinted at by lead singer and songwriter Tony Dekker.
