The Cadillac Three, featuring Nettwerk One/Revelry publishing client Neil Mason, stopped by the set of ABC hit series Nashville yesterday. The band, pictured above getting cozy with Nashville star Connie Britton, shot a scene where they performed their song "The South," which will be featured on the band's upcoming album. Keep an eye out for their episode, set to air in early 2014!

Country singer/songwriter Brandy Clark is taking Nashville by storm with her acclaimed debut album, 12 Stories (Slate Creek Records), which reached #5 on the iTunes Country Chart, #5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart and #28 on the Billboard Country Chart.
A talented songwriter herself (she recently received a CMA nomination for Song of the Year with Miranda Lambert’s “Mama’s Broken Heart”), Clark also enlisted the help of some of Nashville’s finest young writers, including Nettwerk One/Revelry client Jessie Jo Dillon. Dillon contributed three tracks to 12 Stories: “Crazy Women,” “Just Like Him,” and “Hungover,” the album’s second single.
Tastemakers across country music are chiming in on 12 Stories, including some famous friends. Kelly Clarkson admitted via Twitter that Dillon-penned song “Just Like Him” made her “tear up like a baby”…”great song” she says. See more tweets below.
Nettwerk Music Group is excited to announce the signing of UK-based duo Coves to its worldwide label and publishing rosters.
The highly buzzed about 60’s infused, indie psych-rock duo released their debut EP Cast A Shadow and follow up single “Last Desire” in 2012, and quickly won the support of BBC Radio 1’s Zane Lowe, Huw Stephens, Nick Grimshaw and more, as well as attention from influential press outlets like NME, The Fly, Clash, Dazed & Confused and The Guardian, who featured Coves in its coveted “New Band Of The Day” column. They also peaked the interest of industry legend James Endeacott, who A&R’d The Strokes and signed TheLibertines. Endeacott signed the band to a management deal with his current company, Oh Mercy Management. Coves caught Nettwerk’s attention when they played to a ravenous crowd earlier this year at Latitude Festival.
Coves, comprised of singer Rebekah Wood and multi-instrumentalist John Rigard, will headline London’s Electrwerkz on November 7 to celebrate the official release of “Beatings” (November 11 in UK; North American release date TBD), the first single from the band’s forthcoming debut album. Mixed by Brendan Lynch (Primal Scream, Paul Weller), Clash Magazine says of the track, “With those driving, Spector-esque drums and that sweeping grandeur, theirs is a teenage melodrama fuelled by a passion for noise…swirling psychedelia with a visceral edge.”

NW1 writer/producer Fredro has been busy this year lending his sought after skills to some of the hottest talent around.
Namie Amuro's "Hands On Me" (above) was co-writtend and produced by Fredro; the track is featured on her her latest album, Feel (Avex), which was the 2nd most sold album worldwide on release week, only being oversold by Jay Z. Of the track, music blog MuuMuse raves, "It’s a slick electronic banger, and totally nuts in all the best ways possible: Chaotic alarms, catchy chants, pounding drum bursts, stinging synthesizers and about a half-dozen dance floor breakdowns that sound like a broken electronic alarm clock being thrown into a washing machine."
Fredro is also behind up and coming R&B singer B Smyth's latest single "Vibe," which fittingly premiered on Vibe.com last month. The song will be featured on his upcoming release, B Smyth Presents: The Florida Files EP, out October 15th. Watch "Vibe" below.

Nettwerk One Publishing congratulates The Cadillac Three on their signing to Big Machine Label Group. Neil Mason of The Cadillac Three (formerly The Cadillac Black) is signed to an exclusive publishing agreement with Nettwerk One and Revelry Music Group.
As reported by Music Row: Big Machine Label Group has signed The Cadillac Three to its Big Machine Records imprint. The Cadillac Three will join fellow artists Taylor Swift, Rascal Flatts, Tim McGraw and others as part of the Big Machine Records label.
The Cadillac Three includes a trio of Nashville natives–Jaren Johnston (guitar & lead vocals), Kelby Ray (bass steel guitar, dobro, acoustic and vocals) and Neil Mason (drums, percussion and vocals).
Johnston is known for penning Keith Urban’s No. 1 smash “You Gonna Fly,” two new cuts on McGraw’s latest record Two Lanes of Freedom and several other tunes for acts like Kenny Chesney, Sara Evans and Dierks Bentley.
Neon Neon (Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip) will release new album Praxis Makes Perfect in the UK on April 29th via Lex Records.
Praxis Makes Perfect is inspired by the life and times of Giangiacomo Feltrinelli. Born in to one of Italy’s wealthiest families, Feltrinelli was a left-wing political activist and published some of the greatest literary works of the 20th century, including The Leopard and Doctor Zhivago. He died in highly suspicious circumstances in 1972.
Praxis Makes Perfect features Sabrina Salerno, Asia Argento, Cate Le Bon, Josh Klinghoffer and follows Neon Neon’s 2008, Mercury-shortlisted debut Stainless Style, a concept album based on the life of colourful motoring mogul John DeLorean.
Gruff Rhys and Boom Bip have also teamed up with playwright Tim Price, director Wils Wilson and National Theatre Wales to create unique Neon Neon live performances. An initial run of shows will take place at an undisclosed Cardiff location from 2nd to 5th May. Tickets are priced £15 and on sale here.
