Directed by AG Rojas, the uniquely compelling video juxtaposes light and dark and is an encouragement to those who struggle with anorexia. The subject is close to Fitzsimmons' heart, considering he’s “one of the few and the unproud” 5-10% of males suffering from the eating disorder.

Today, critical darling William Fitzsimmons releases his fourth studio album, Gold In The Shadow (Nettwerk Records). The appeal of Fitzsimmons’ sound is indicative of his unique upbringing and consequent life experience. Born to two blind parents, Fitzsimmons grew up in a home where sound - particularly music - was integral to communication.
While maintaining the intimacy of previous releases, Fitzsimmons expands his sound on tracks like lead singles, “The Tide Pulls From The Moon” and “Beautiful Girl.” With “Let You Break,” William Fitzsimmons collaborates with Julia Stone, one half of the acclaimed Aussie brother/sister folk duo Angus & Julia Stone. Fitzsimmons’ gentle whispers are perfectly paired alongside Julia’s distinct, delicate, and fragile voice.
