Nettwerk is excited to officially announce the signing of alt-pop duo St. Lola In The Fields. Their debut full-length High Atop The Houses And The Towns will be released on October 5; first single “Hold Me” will be available for purchase on September 7. Listen below to “Hold Me,” which was recently featured in an episode of Pretty Little Liars.
St. Lola In The Fields is comprised of Cindy Brouwer and Jeremy Bose, two veteran songwriters who found themselves writing songs they loved, but weren’t designed to be commercially popular. St. Lola was born in 2007 to give those songs a stage. Brouwer and Bose began working on an EP, Little Breaks/Little Bends, and performing live together when schedules allowed. Both writers appreciated the break St. Lola gave them from all the voices that weighed in on the creation of music industry songs.
“For the first time in my life,” enthuses Bose, “I’m writing songs I really, really love and not giving them away.” Brouwer adds, “For us radio wasn’t even a concern. Every time we got together to write it was like dessert. It didn’t feel like work at all.”
