Nettwerk One (NW1), the publishing arm of Nettwerk Music Group, and Island Records Australia have teamed up for a Writer Retreat in Ubud, Bali from May 30, 2010 – June 10, 2010, with some of the hottest established and up-and-coming artists, writers, and producers from around the globe.

Peter Coquillard of NW 1 says, “Ubud is truly Bali’s pre-eminent center for fine arts, dance and music. When Michael Taylor, Head of Island Records Australia, and I were discussing putting together a exceptional retreat in a truly unique place, we couldn’t think of a more vibrant, creative and inspiring place to conduct it.”

Michael Taylor of Island Records Australia says, “Creating a unique and special environment for artists and writers to work together undoubtedly brings about special songs, and that’s the goal of this Bali writing retreat. With this caliber of song-writing talent and artistry, and with the beautiful surroundings of Ubud, great music and collaborations are bound to come forth.”
