In case you missed it, Feed Me's new single "Trapdoor" features Nettwerk label artist Hadouken!. "Trapdoor" builds on a wave of astral synths as they filter in through the track, lifting the vocals up on a bed of melody before unleashing its full force with a maniacal, mechanised baseline that writhes through the core of the track wiring itself around the soft synths and vocal hooks. Play the video above to hear "Trapdoor."
Yesterday, NME.com premiered the video (above) for title track, "Oxygen," from Hadouken!'s forthcoming EP (release date: January 18). The Oxygen EP contains both album and remix versions of the new track and their last single "Mecha Love." Both singles wear Hadouken!’s dance/rock sound on their sleeves and further highlight the band’s position at the cross-section of dance and guitar music.
Britain's most dynamic young band Hadouken! is back with a brand new single EP called Mic Check (EP), featuring the album version of the track from their US debut For The Masses, along with a radio edit of the track and three remixes (track list below).
The BBC's Zane Lowe's chose "Mic Check" as his Hottest Record Of The Week on his radio show, calling the track "old school garage destroyed and updated. More riot music." The video has gotten UK play on MTV, NME, Kerrang! and more.
