Angus & Julia Stone Added To John Butler Trio Dates, Including Stops In Philly, DC, Boston and the NYC Central Park Summerstage!

As they come off of their sold out Australian and UK tours and prepare to head to Los Angeles for their first N. American date on May 25, Angus & Julia Stone have just announced that they'll join the John Butler Trio on a handful of dates in mid-June, including the Central Park Summerstage. Their US headline tour dates are already beginning to sell out, and the pair will have yet another track ("The Devil's Tears") featured on this Thursday's episode of Grey's Anatomy.

Full N. American tour dates are below. Check out what the UK press had to say after the Aussie bro/sis duo's sold-out show at the 2,000 capacity Shepherd Bush Empire on April 22:

“Angus and Julia Stone are a ridiculously talented Aussie bro and sis duo… The packed-out crowd hung on every ethereal folky gem.” -- Daily Star (UK)

“Angus & Julia Stone…have come of age with their second album, Down the Way...Peddling a soft-focused but sometimes surprisingly hard-edged brand of modern folk, the duo draws on elements of Americana filtered through an otherworldly sense of romantic wonder. The darkened Empire stage looked like an enchanted cave, with sprays of bright electric flowers, fairy lights and a heavy cloak of billowing mist. Julia, dressed in a flowing green dress, looked like a sea nymph as she danced barefoot around the stage. She sang the opening number, And the Boys, in a dark, quivering voice that had something of the hippy-siren quality of Stevie Nicks. Angus, who opted for a more agrarian look involving a battered hat and an untended beard, took over the singing for Yellow Brick Road, an aching acoustic-guitar lament that he delivered in a voice as keening and fragile as a desert wind.” –-The Times (UK)
