Sarah McLachlan Foundation Presents Summer Sessions At Ambleside, Featuring Sarah McLachlan, Sheryl Crow and Neil Young

The Sarah McLachlan Foundation is proud to present SUMMER SESSIONS AT AMBLESIDE on Saturday, September 12th 2009. The one-day premiere benefit concert will be the first of its kind in West Vancouver, featuring performances by megastar artists SARAH MCLACHLAN, SHERYL CROW and NEIL YOUNG.

Sarah McLachlan reflects, “I am thrilled to have Neil and Sheryl join me on stage at Ambleside Park this September to help raise funds for my Foundation. We hope the event will entertain and inspire, while increasing awareness of the need for music in children’s lives. I am also excited that the City of West Vancouver has partnered with us to bring this event into the community that I have been proud to call my home for so many years.”

The Great Lake Swimmers front man Tony Dekker recently stopped by 30 Rock in NYC for a very special sit down with NBC Nightly News anchor Brian Williams to tape an interview for his much buzzed about video blog BriTunes.

The two sat down in the music editing room for Saturday Night Live, where they had a chance to chat about musical influences and the new album Lost Channels.

MSNBC is hosting the full album stream and Legion Session videos including the debut of the latest session track "Stealing Tomorrow".

Great Lake Swimmers And Howling Bells Get Love From NBC's Brian Williams

NBC News anchor Brian Williams has been know for years as a trusted voice in the world of nightly news events, but only recently has he started to make a name for himself in a very different field.. indie rock.  As recently chronicled in an interview with Rolling Stone, the 37 year old anchor has started his own weekly online blog, aptly titled 'BriTunes.'

And in two recent episodes of one of the hottest new blog shows to hit the cyber world, the newsman shows that he has excellent taste, shouting out both Great Lake Swimmers and Howling Bells in succedding episodes.
