In preparation for its brand new full-length album coming in 2012, Nettwerk One Publishing client Perfume Genius will be debuting new songs (as well as favorites from Learning) across North America with none other than Beirut in November/December.

Set for release March 8, Alexi Murdoch’s forthcoming album, Towards The Sun, is “the most alluring and fully realized collection of songs he's crafted so far,” – NPR. The full album is currently streaming on the site. Click HERE to listen.

Murdoch recorded the majority of Towards the Sun in Vancouver in a single night while on tour in North America in 2009. Revisiting the tracks months later in New York, Murdoch fleshed out the tracks with the help of musicians known for their work in Brooklyn’s independent music scene, including Jon Natchez (Beirut), Kelly Pratt (Beirut) and Kyle Resnick (The National).
