“As one of New York's best kept indie-pop secrets, Paul Hammer and Deidre Muro spin yarns of love and longing, against a body-moving backdrop of sleek dance beats.” – WFUV

“[Savoir Adore] intuitively sharpen their dreamy dialogues with wiry, earthy hooks and defiant dance beats: the result is an ingenious marriage of esoteric artistry and easy accessibility.” – NPR “10 Artists You Should’ve Known in 2012”

Brooklyn’s Savoir Adore will join On An On as support for an east coast run of dates, starting April 4th in Washington, DC. The fantasy pop duo, who recently sold-out their first headline show at Brooklyn’s Glasslands, will re-release their album Our Nature with a brand new track called “Beating Hearts” on June 18th via their new label home of Nettwerk Records.

Lead single “Dreamers” will be released as a 4-track EP, including a previously unreleased cover of the Thomson Twins’ “Hold Me Now,” on April 9th on iTunes. Watch the video for "Dreamers" above.

Formed in 2007, Savoir Adore has become a fixture of Brooklyn’s indie scene. Following the release of The Adventures of Mr. Pumpernickel and the Girl with Animals in Her Throat and 2009’s In The Wooded Forest, the New York music press embraced the fantastic self-released Our Nature. Muro and Hammer were both born into musical households. Muro’s father is an electronic music composer/performer/author, her mother an organist and her brother a composer. Muro herself learned to play the piano and violin and trained as a jazz vocalist while also in her mother’s church choir. When she arrived at NYU, she joined a songwriter’s club, which is where she met Hammer, who grew up with famed keyboardist and composer Jan Hammer (Mahavishnu Orchestra) as his father.

Savoir Adore has previously shared the stage with MGMT, Los Campesinos, Ra Ra Riot, Oh Land and Toro Y Moi, and Milo Greene. Stay tuned for more tour plans around Our Nature’s re-release.
