Exclusive Landon Pigg Live Performances With Project Rhythm Seed
Project Rhythm Seed--a nonprofit company with a mission to create funding for youth music programs--was recently invited to attend a private, music industry showcase called Michele Clark’s Sunset Sessions. During the three day event, they videotaped over thirty interview and performance segments with many talented musical artists and groups, including two segments with Nettwerk-managed artist Landon Pigg. Check it out HERE.
Says Project Rhythm Seed founder Myles Crawley, “Landon is a consummate professional. He is a songwriter’s songwriter. While we were waiting for the technical crew to begin shooting, Landon and I had a conversation about Project Rhythm Seed’s mission. Being a second generation musician, and having the creative tools readily available as he was growing up, Landon not only understands the importance of musical education, but also recognizes the potential for negative impact created by the breakdown of school music programs.”
The exclusive Landon Pigg footage premiered today at www.projectrhtyhmseed.org. For more information, or to get involved with Project Rhythm Seed, send an email to info@projectrhythmseed.org.
About Project Rhythm Seed:
Project Rhythm Seed is a nonprofit company created in 2009 by San Diego based producer/songwriter, Myles Crawley. Its mission is to create funding for youth music programs, as well as supply instruments to underprivileged children and make grant scholarships available to kids pursuing a career in musical education and performance. Music programs have been some of the hardest hit by our declining world economy. The victims here are the musicians of the future. It is up to all of us, as an industry, to make sure that these programs continue. Its a well published fact that children who posses a high artistic aptitude, yet have no release or way to focus that energy, can easily get off track and become destructive to themselves, or to society in general. If not pointed or focused in the right direction the fallout could potentially be gauged by a dramatic rise in crime, drug addiction and suicide. Many young lives will be adversely affected. At the very least, the future of the music business will be negatively impacted.
