Nettwerk Artists Score 2010 Juno Nominations

Time to pop a bottle or two, as Nettwerk artists collect several nominations for this year's 2010 Juno Awards in St Johns Newfoundland.

The Great Lake Swimmers hit yet another high note with their album Lost Channels, which gets the nod for Best Roots & Traditional Album Of The Year: Group. The nomination is the latest and greatest accolade for an album that has been nominated for the Polaris Music Prize, The Folk Music Awards and two Canadian Indies Awards.

Nettwerk One had a great day as well, with two more of their artists getting some major nominations.  Johnny Reid received 4 Juno nominations:  Juno Fan Choice Award; Album of The Year (Dance with Me); Artist of The Year; Country Album of the Year (Dance with Me). New signing Ryan Stewart was nominated for Songwriter of the Year for Carly Rae Jepsen's "Tug of War" and "Money and Ego". He also received a nomination for Dance Recording of the Year for his song and production of "Shine for you" Carmen and Camille.
