Meaghan Smith's 'Cricket's Orchestra' Featured In Sunday's New York Times

Nettwerk management artist Meaghan Smith's debut album Cricket's Orchestra received a fantastic review from New York Time's critic Jon Pareles in the Sunday, February 21 edition of the paper. Pareles writes, "Her songs are wry and retro, with wordplay harking back to Tin Pan Alley’s heyday: 'This stupid heart, this foolish thing/Failed me from the start, keeps malfunctioning,' she coos in 'Heartbroken,' as her airy voice belies the lyrics." Smith is also currently featured on TeenVogue.com for her cover of The Pixies "Here Comes Your Man," which TeenVogue.com calls "a highlight of the (500) Days of Summer soundtrack." Check out the video HERE.
Stay tuned for more news from Meaghan Smith, and look for her on the 2010 Lilith Tour this summer!
