The Hundreds And Thousands To Unveil New Music From Self Titled Debut Album During Two Live Shows

“Top 9 in 09” – AOL Music Canada

Former Starling frontman Ian LeFeuvre reunites with bassist Maury LaFoy and drummer Peter Von Althen to create The Hundreds and Thousands. The band released their Nettwerk debut, The Hundreds and Thousands, on August 25.

The Hundreds and Thousands plan to introduce songs from the new album during two live shows next month: Friday, October 16th in Ottawa at Zaphod Beeblebrox and Saturday, October 17th in Toronto at The Mod Club. Fans can count on hearing familiar songs such as “Don’t Talk To Me” and “Rat Race” along with more tracks from the album.

The Hundreds and Thousands is a paired down, raw and jagged take on rock n’ roll recorded live off the floor. Careful to not dilute the raw power of the three-piece, the vast majority of the record (vocals included) was recorded live in only a few short sessions; a testament to each musician’s technical aptitude. As a result, the 11 songs on The Hundreds and Thousands swell with a larger than life sound, and their live show delivers just that!

October 16 Zaphod Beeblebrox Ottawa
October 17 The Mod Club Toronto
