Madi Diaz's 'The Other Side EP' Out Today, Featuring Remixes From Gold Fields And Magic Man

“‘The Other Side' sees Diaz shedding her acoustic proclivity…and trading charm for seduction as she wreaths steadily building vocals in a cloud of blooming, respirating synths. The EP's two featured remixes aren't anything to miss, either — Gold Fields transmutes the song into a pristine, popped-up runway track, while producer Magic Man goes still another shade darker with Diaz's shadowy, building sound.” —

“…the combination of [Madi’s] stellar voice, and [Gold Fields’] great production work birthed a very solid rework of an already strong original mix...”—

"Magic Man’s instigated a dimmer start that’s picked up by a snare-based beat before continuing a low undertone below the voice of Diaz. Then, as the synth kicks and turns the tone of the track into an upbeat sonic compilation, we’re able to truly enjoy how two similar musical talents mesh as well as they do here."—

“It’s a jam for midnight drives in the summer heat. Madi’s beautiful vocals float perfectly over the slightly haunting grooves.” —

“…a moody, yet glistening and balmy jam.” — I Heart Moosiq (Magic Man Remix)

"Their beats plus her voice are a match-made in Summer heaven." - Leather And Porridge (Gold Fields Remix)

"Instantly catchy and super upbeat, [’Stay Together’] has that special warm seasonality to surely be a fixture on many summer playlists.” — BlahBlahBlahScience

“Stay Together’ is a buoyant track filled with the perfect amount of edgy effects and soaring pop.” – Free Bike Valet

Young Liars Share "Night Window" Video

“With an elevated sense of passion and drive, Young Liars have shown that they have grown off their previous experience with their latest release…. They are the kind of group that show every sign of being on the verge of breaking through.” – Earmilk

Today, Vancouver based electro, indie-rock quartet Young Liars share the official video for “Night Window.” The track, which is the first single off their upcoming debut album Tidal Wave, is set for be release later this month (June 24).

The video was directed by Nathan Boey (Royal Canoe, Hey Ocean!, Paper Lions) and was shot in Vancouver’s West 7 Studios. Exclaim!, who premiered the video yesterday, said “The peppy tune describes knocking on someone's window late at night, and the accompanying visuals bring the story to life by offering creative visual representations for most of the lines. All of this takes place on a entirely white sound stage, where the Vancouver band are shown playing their instruments via some stylized and occasionally trippy camera work.” when explaining the premise.

Sinead O'Connor - 'I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss'

Having recently signed to Nettwerk Music Group, Sinéad O'Connor prepares to release her 10th studio album in a career spanning over twenty-five years. The newly titled album, I'm Not Bossy, I'm The Boss will be released on August 12.

Indicative of where Sinéad is in life the album is passionate and direct, yet with an overarching fragility; her voice is as powerful as it is tender. “Having published Sinead as a songwriter for the last 5 years, it’s great to now broaden that relationship to the Nettwerk label too. The new recordings are incredible and we’re all very excited to be working on this worldwide release for later this year,” says Blair McDonald, MD of Nettwerk Music Group UK.

Directed by Jarrad Seng, the official music video captures Larsen’s recent life on the road during last month's tour through Europe. The video, like the album, expresses the dichotomy of Stu’s amazing journeys, contrasted with the singularity of a man and his guitar.

NW1 Music/Revelry Music Group/Lake Gloria Music Sign Nashville-Based Songwriter/Artist Austin Jenckes To Publishing Roster

Nettwerk One Music/Revelry Music Group, along with the newly formed partnership with Neil Mason’s company Lake Gloria Music, have signed Nashville-based songwriter/artist Austin Jenckes to its ever expanding roster of talented songwriters, which includes Jessie Jo Dillon, Neil Mason (The Cadillac Three), Mike Fiorentino and Archertown.

From the rural town of Duvall, WA comes the voice of an honest soul. With lyrical roots in country and folk, and an unmistakably unique vocal style, Austin Jenckes is by definition a singer/songwriter.
He has spent the better half of a decade paving his own way; starting with small local followings in sleepy coastal towns around the pacific northwest. In January of 2012, he moved from Washington State to Nashville, TN, where he recorded an independently released EP titled “An American Story.”

Austin Jenckes was a Top 10 finalist in Season 5 of NBC’s The Voice and is currently preparing for an extensive tour schedule in 2014, where he will formally introduce himself to new listeners with the intention of greeting every ear with the voice of an old friend.

Nettwerk/Revelry’s AJ Burton says, “Austin’s name came across my desk nearly three years ago, which resulted in a successful collaboration with Neil Mason. Austin has one of the best voices I’ve heard, and we are thrilled to have him on board.”

The Trews Premiere "What's Fair Is Fair" Video; Tour Starts June 4

"Electric ultra-pop… Guitars and keyboards grind in time to the big buzzy heart-bleeding vocals." - IMPOSE

“The songs all creep up on you, rather than being over-the-top. What they will ensure is that you’ll want to go back and check them out again and again.”
- Classic Rock Magazine

Ten years, five studio albums and thousands of gigs in, Canada's The Trews released their self-titled, Nettwerk debut digitally in the U.S. last month. The album is an electrifying punch of 70s rock with tight grooves and pristine vocal harmonies and this morning, the Ontario-based rockers have partnered with Diffuser to premiere the video for blazing lead single, "What's Fair Is Fair".

Produced by Gavin Brown (Metric, Billy Talent, The Tragically Hip) and guitarist John-Angus MacDonald (The Trews, The Glorious Sons), The Trews is the band’s maiden release with new label Nettwerk, home to Passenger, Peter Murphy, Boy & Bear, Family of the Year and more.
