UK-born troubadour Mike Rosenberg, aka Passenger, will return to North America for a two week solo tour starting Thursday, December 6 in Boston and wrapping Friday, December 14 in Los Angeles (all tour dates below). Rosenberg will perform songs from his latest album All The Little Lights, which features standout track “Let Her Go” and has been on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart for seven straight weeks, where it peaked at #17. The album has also spent five weeks on the Canadian Top 200 Albums Chart, with nearly 4,000 albums sold. 

2012 has been a landmark year for Passenger. With his unique blend of the humorous and the heartbreaking, he has won the hearts and minds of audiences around the globe, performing live and selling-out venues across the UK, Europe, Australia and most recently North America with Ed Sheeran. Family Of The Year Shares Stripped Down Version Of "Hero"; Tours With White Arrows and Walk The Moon

LA-based Family Of The Year shares a stripped down studio performance of current single, “Hero” from Loma Vista.  Filmed at Wax Studios, the song is a perfect addition to the Fall season soundtrack.

Wanting Sells Out Tour Dates; More Shows Added, Including CMJ Showcase

 
In light of her tour dates selling out almost immedately after being announced, Chinese-born, Vancouver-based songstress Wanting has added second performances in Los Angeles and New York City. She's also been added to an offcial CMJ showcase at The Living Room on October 16th (full list of dates is below). In a recent live review of the Zebra Music Festival near Shanghai, Billboard.biz said, "This Chinese-born, Canada-based singer-songwriter put on an unparalleled set thick with emotion, energy and musical chops…with a soulful, expressive voice, vulnerable lyrics and striking looks.”

Wanting released her debut album, Everything In World, in North America in April, and left for China soon after, where Universal Music China released the album in July. Everything In The World went Platinum in its first week. Wanting has been touring across China all summer, playing various headline shows and festivals in front of audiences of nearly 40,000; the album is now Triple Platinum in China and Double Platinum in Hong Kong and Platinum in Malaysia.  It also remains the #1 selling album in China

Admiral Fallow Nominated For UK AIM Award; Band Launches North American Tour This Weekend

Nettwerk Music Group is thrilled to announce that Scottish indie folk/rock quintet Admiral Fallow has been nominated for an award in the category of “Best 'Difficult' Second Album” in the UK’s AIM Independent Music Awards.  The nominees are chosen by various movers and shakers in the music industry (see the list here).  The awards will take place at London's The Brewery on October 29th and will be hosted by BBC Radio 1’s Huw Stephens and BBC 6Music’s Steve Lamacq. The evening is set to be the most important event of the year for independent music in UK!

Admiral Fallow are continuing to tour in support of their sophmore effort, Tree Bursts In Snow. The band launches the North American leg of their tour this Saturday, September 29 in Chicago, IL as part of the Celtic Connections Festival (full list of tour dates are below).

Peter Murphy Announces Intimate "Halloween Miracula" Concert In Los Angeles On October 27

Peter Murphy has announced a special and intimate "Halloween Miracula" experience on Saturday, October 27th from 6:00pm -1:30am at a secret location in the Los Angeles area. The night begin with cocktails, followed by a moonlit 2-act concert with a special set list that has been specifically chosen for this event. After the show, the party continues with cocktails, a moveable feast, music and merriment. Peter will join in the festivities and spend the evening revelling with his guests. Smaller groups will be invited throughout the evening to join Peter in a private room at the location to have more intimate conversation, take photos and sign autographs. Tickets are $500 and will be limited to a total of 125.

Current Swell To Join Dispatch On Tour!

Victoria, B.C.'s Current Swell has announced that they'll join Dispatch on four special tour dates starting later this week in Vancouver (9/20), Seattle (9/21), Portland (9/22) and Los Angeles (9/26). The roots rock fivesome will release their Nettwerk debut, Long Time Ago, on October 16. Check out the video for single "Too Cold" above.

Passenger's new album, All The Little Lights, made its North American debut last week to critical acclaim. This week, the album lands on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart at #95. Passenger will celebrate the release of All The Little Lights with a solo show tonight (September 6) in Los Angeles at Hotel Cafe before joining his pal Ed Sheeran on the VH1 You Oughta Know Tour With Ed Sheeran, launching Saturday, September 9 in Orlando, FL.  He'll also make a solo stop in New York City at The Living Room on Thursday, September 13

Next week, the band kicks things off with the 98.7FM stage at Sunset Strip Music Festival on Saturday, August 18 before heading to Europe to play the BBC Introducing Stage at The Reading & Leeds Festivals and France’s sold-out three-day music festival Rock En Seine, alongside Green Day, The Black Keys, Sigur Rós, The Shins, Placebo, Of Monsters and Men and others.

Family Of The Year will spend the remainder of August and early September touring through Europe, playing venues across the Netherlands, Germany, Belgium, Sweden and more. By mid-September, the band returns home to share the stage with Walk The Moon, White Arrows and Hey Ocean! across North America.
