Grammy-nominated Producer/DJ Morgan Page returns this week with the fourth single from his stellar studio album, In The Air. “Carry Me” is an original release created in collaboration with renowned songwriter Nadia Ali.
This is the second time the two have worked together. The first time Page and Ali partnered, the result led to a “Best Remix” Grammy nomination for “Fantasy” from Ali’s solo effort Embers. Returning to the studio, the pair were quick to rekindle their initial chemistry. The result is a dynamic crossover track that fuses the best of pop and house elements and manages to convey genuine romanticism.
Remixes comes from Dyro and Nilson & The 8th Note. Dyro gets straight to the point with a razor-sharp electro treatment, while Nilson & The 8th Note keep it classic with a compelling big room rework.
Setting the tone, MTV partners to premiere Carry Me Aftermovie. As part of a “new crop of DJs leading the way towards the new stage paradigm of EDM,” [LA Weekly], the After Movie flawlessly captures the dynamic live set that Page is celebrated for. Filmed for a special Miami edition of MTV Clubland, the After Movie will on MTV, MTV Hits and MTVu.

Iconic frontman Peter Murphy has announced the Mr. Moonlight Tour, celebrating 35 years of Bauhaus. Murphy, who has started working with producer Youth (Killing Joke, The Verve) on the follow up to his 2011 critically acclaimed solo effort, NINTH (Nettwerk), will spend three months touring North America and Europe with a full band performing only Bauhaus material.
Says Peter, “Since 2006, I have included my Bauhaus work into my solo work as a way of tipping my hat to my own audience…those who discovered my early work as well as new and old fans of those years strong wishes to hear the music of my band crackle and spark in the live arena. Being the foremost advocate of this Bauhaus work, I decided the time was ripe to at last give a pure Bauhaus experience in one Mr. Moonlight world tour. Mr. Moonlight is alive and well, don't doubt it.”
Bauhaus formed in 1978 and achieved worldwide cult status that continues to this day. As the main man of the acclaimed outfit, Peter Murphy helped usher in ground breaking opaque moods and atmospheres into the post-punk landscape. Bauhaus originally split in 1983, but eventually bowed to public pressure to reform in 1998 and again in 2005. The Mr. Moonlight Tour will be the first time since 2006 that Peter Murphy will perform full Bauhaus sets, and the first time ever that he will do so on his own.
"BOY writes and sings tuneful, friendly, forthright pop-folk songs about life and relationships...The lyrics are in idiomatic American English, cradled by melodies with a comfortable lilt and by Ms. Steiner’s sweet, unfailingly precise lead vocals….Boy brings a pastry chef’s skill to its music; there’s structure behind the sweetness." -- The New York Times (Live Review)
“This band’s about to go pop!” – NylonMag.com
“Great pop songs are boiled-down emotion – a simple line or melody that says it all...Swiss-German duo BOY nails it with viral hit ‘Little Numbers’...simple, catchy, effective.” -- Billboard Magazine
“The duo BOY...pound out bouncy melodies and hand-clap their way through the addictive Mutual Friends.” – Cosmopolitan
“breezy, relatable indie-pop songs...” – Alternative Press
“The debut effort put forth by this Hamburg-based duo is as bubbly and rosy-cheeked as any playful kid...Attaboy!” – Filter Magazine
“I predict a mainstream takeover.” – TheWildHoneypie.com
