We are thrilled to announce that Grammy®-winning Writer/Producer Holly Knight has been elected for induction into the 2013 class of the Songwriters Hall of Fame along with other legendary songwriters such as Mick Jones & Lou Gramm,and Steven Tyler & Joe Perry.
Holly’s songwriting created massively successful and iconic hits such as ‘Better Be Good To Me’ and ‘The Best’ recorded by Tina Turner, ‘Love Is A Battlefield’ and ‘Invincible’ by Pat Benatar, ‘Ragdoll’ by Aerosmith, ‘The Warrior’ by Patty Smyth and Scandal,‘Never’ by Heart, ‘Obsession’by Animotion as well as songs from artists such as Rod Stewart, Kiss, Cheap Trick, Divinyls, Chaka Kahn and John Waite.
The induction ceremony is scheduled for June 13th, 2013 in New York City.
Nettwerk Producer Management is pleased to announce the addition of Producer/Mixer Noah Shain to our roster of clients.
Shain is currently enjoying tremendous success with break-out rock act Dead Sara with their hit song “Weatherman," from their self-titled album, which Noah produced and mixed. “Weatherman” has done well at Active Rock radio and Alternative radio, as well as on Billboard’s Rock and Hot Modern Rock Tracks charts. The album also hit the Top 20 on Billboard’s Top Heatseekers. The second single from the album, “We Are What You Say”, is presently on its way up the charts.
Noah also produced the hot, buzzing UK band The Chevin’s forthcoming LP, Borderland, including the singles “Champion” and “BlueEyes." The Chevin made their US television debut on The Late Show With David Letterman on August 31st and drew huge praise from Dave and his audience. The band will perform on Conan on Sept 27th.
Noah’s previous credits include productions for artists such as SONNY (aka Skrillex), Atreyu, As Tall As Lions, and the albums Culture Vultures and Bright Idea by Orson, including their #1 UK single “NoTomorrow.”
Nettwerk Producer Management client Matt Serletic scored a #1 album on the Billboard Top 200 this week with the album North from Matchbox Twenty, which he produced. North is the band’s fourth studio album, and amazingly, their first #1. Serletic has produced all of the previous albums for the hit-makers, including their 1996 debut Yourself Or Someone Like You, 2000’s Mad Season and 2002’s More Than You Think YouAre. The combined sales of all 4 albums is more than 14.5 million units to date. The first single from North, “She’s So Mean," was the band’s 13th top 10 hit on the Adult Top 40 chart and currently remains at #8 for the third straight week.
Serletic’s work can also currently be heard with the hit single “(Kissed You) Good Night” from Gloriana. The single peaked at #2 on the Hot Country Songs chart, with the album, A Thousand Miles Left Behind, debuting at #2 on the Billboard Country Albums chart. Both Matchbox Twenty and Gloriana were signed and developed by Matt’s own Emblem Records.
Grammy®-winning Mixer Chris Lord-Alge has mixed Multiplatinum and Grammy-winning rock superstars Muse’s new song “Survival” which has been chosen as the official song for the upcoming 2012 London Olympic Games. The opening ceremonies for the Olympic Games are today, Friday July 27th and the IOC has just released a powerful promotional video featuring "Survival." CLA mixed several songs from the band’s forthcoming album, 2nd Law, and is very proud to be a part of the forthcoming Muse album as well as the 2012 Olympics Games!
Lord-Alge’s work can also currently be heard all over the radio with such songs as Shinedown’s #1 Active Rock song “Unity", Green Day's first single "Oh Love" from their forthcoming full-length Uno!, Matchbox 20's "She's So Mean" and Staind’s “Now.”

On Sunday February 12th, the 54th Grammy Awards were held in Los Angeles, and Grammy®-winning Mixer/Engineer Shipley walked away with 2 awards.
Shipley won 'Best Engineered Album' and 'Best Bluegrass Album' for his engineering and mixing work on the Alison Krauss & Union Station album, Paper Airplanes. Shipley previously won in 2000 for Best Country Album with Faith Hill’s classic, Breathe, which Mike also engineered and mixed.

Legendary super-mixer Bob Clearmountain was featured this past weekend in the "Life & Culture" section of The Wall Street Journal, in their Life & Culture section. Most recently, Bob honored with a Grammy for his work on Alejandro Sanz Paraiso Express.

Grammy-winning mixer Bob Clearmountain won an award for mixing Alejandro Sanz's album Paraiso Express, which won for Best Male Pop Vocal Album. Grammy-winning mixer Thom Russo won as part of the Best Engineered Album award for mixing the Diego Torres album Distinto.
