The 2012 holiday season has officially arrived. Store shelves that recently housed Halloween candy and witch hats are suddenly stocked with tree lights, garland and red and green-colored chocolate kisses, which means it’s also time for Nettwerk Music Group’s yearly holiday offering. Isn’t This World Enough: A Nettwerk Christmas is out November 20th.
Isn’t This World Enough: A Nettwerk Christmas features previously unreleased, original Christmas songs from Great Lake Swimmers, Current Swell, Ash Koley and Liam Titcomb, as well as original holiday tracks from fun., Family of the Year, Jay Brannan, Hey Ocean! and more. Traditional holiday songs also appear on the album, like Sixpence None The Richer’s rendition of “Angels We Have Heard On High,” The Rifles brit-rock take on “Sleigh Bells” and a newly arranged version of “Silent Night” from Joshua Hyslop. The title track comes from Scottish orchestral folk/rock band Admiral Fallow.
