Previously nominated for "Best Breakthrough Artist (Solo)," Page receives his first nod in the prestigious “Best American DJ (North America)” category. Page receives his third nomination for ‘Best Progressive Track’ with his #1Billboard Hot Dance Airplay song, “In The Air” featuring Sultan + Ned Shepard, BT and Angela McCluskey on vocals.
Yesterday, Canada’s premier music portal, MuchMusic, premiered the follow-up single to "In The Air" – “Body Work” (album version). Teaming up with Canada’s Tegan & Sara, the three wanted to write something together from scratch. The result is one of the most exciting tracks off the 2012 studio album. To check it out, click HERE.
SiriusXM's BPM recently posted its "Top 51 of 2011" list, with chart-topping single "In The Air" landing at #11. "In The Air," a collaboration between Grammy-nominated Morgan Page, Sultan + Ned Shepard and BT and featuring Angela McCluskey on vocals, took the #1 spot on Billboard's Hot Dance Airplay Chart last October, giving Page his first #1 hit. He now follows up "In The Air" with "Body Work," a special collaboration with Tegan and Sara. Directed by Justin Coloma, the official music video for "In The Air" was filmed in the Hollywood Hills and during last month's sold out performance at Avalon Hollywood. A collaboration with Sultan + Ned Shepard, BT and featuring Angela McCluskey on vocals, "In the Air" is the first single from Morgan Page’s upcoming studio album, set to drop early next year. On October 15th at Avalon Hollywood, the golden child of the EDM scene, Grammy-nominated Morgan Page was joined on stage by a flood of special guests - Tegan & Sara, Sultan + Ned Shepard, Andy Caldwell, Jonathan Mendelsohn and Angela McCluskey - with American Idol's Blake Lewis starting things up with a DJ set. Like his contemporaries (Deadmaus, Girl Talk), Page put steroids into his live production to marry the audio and visual experience for his fans. As part of the set up, Veokami, a video technology company, teamed up with Page to build a crowd-sourced, interactive “recording” of the performance so that fans around the world can share the experience from start to end and from multiple camera angles. The Hardwell remix of “In The Air” is a punchy, synth-sonic, luscious reworking of its original. Hardwell brings rhythmic nuances with tickling percussions that perfectly compliment the raspy, seductive vocal charm of McCluskey. Russian collective, Hard Rock Sofa adds their signature style to the track, serving up an edgy, driving progressive house touch.
“In The Air" entered into the Top 10 (#9) on the Billboard Dance Radio Chart last week. The track has exploded since its debut, steadily selling more than 1,500 copies a week and remaining the highest rated record at AOL Radio.
