Kinky

Nettwerk would like to congratulate Mexican rock quintet Kinky on their Latin Grammy nomination in the category of "Best Alternative Album" for their latest release Barracuda. The nominations were announced this morning; Kinky shares the category with fellow nominees Babasonicos, Los Amigos Invisibles, Novalima and Zoe. The Latin Grammy Awards will air live from the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas on November 5 on the Univision Network.

In the meantime, Kinky will take part in the GRAMMY® Celebration Concert Tour Presented By T-Mobile® Sidekick®, T-Mobile USA, Inc. and The Recording Academy®, where they'll play two shows with Latin Grammy-winning pop duo Jesse y Joy: September 26 in Houston at the Warehouse Live Ballroom and September 30 in New York City at Webster Hall.

Latin-rockers Kinky unveiled a brand new video for the track "Those Girls" from their latest album Barracuda. Since the release of the album this past February, the band has been on the raod in the US and Mexico, paying special visits to the likes of Jimmy Kimmel Live!, KCRW's Morning Becomes Eclectic, and NPR's Tell Me More along the way.

On Friday, August 28, the band will appear at San Francisco's Outside Land's Music and Arts Festival alongside the Silversun Pickups, Thievery Corporation and Pearl Jam.
