Jesca Hoop Returns To States For Dates With Elbow And More

It’s been three months since Jesca Hoop moved from Los Angeles to Manchester, and in that time, she has not only played shows across Europe (including stops at the Great Escape, Glastonbury and Wireless Festivals and dates in Portugal), but has also nearly completed her anticipated sophomore album.   Now, she returns to Los Angeles to kick off a handful of tour dates starting Wednesday, July 22 with Elbow at the Wiltern (Full list of dates below, including more dates with Elbow and solo dates).

The singer/songwriter (who counts early folk songs, pop radio, chamber music, gospel music, 20's to 40's jazz, ol' country, ol' blues, slave songs, dance hall, murder ballads, rock and roll, blue grass and her back yard among her numerous musical influences) released her critically acclaimed debut Kismet in 2007.
