Great Lake Swimmers And Howling Bells Get Love From NBC's Brian Williams

NBC News anchor Brian Williams has been know for years as a trusted voice in the world of nightly news events, but only recently has he started to make a name for himself in a very different field.. indie rock.  As recently chronicled in an interview with Rolling Stone, the 37 year old anchor has started his own weekly online blog, aptly titled 'BriTunes.'

And in two recent episodes of one of the hottest new blog shows to hit the cyber world, the newsman shows that he has excellent taste, shouting out both Great Lake Swimmers and Howling Bells in succedding episodes.

The Howling Bells officially kick off their North American tour with Coldplay tonight in West Palm Beach, Florida!

And to mark the occasion, lead singer Juanita Stein sat down with Coldplay.com to chat about the upcoming tour and the making of and US release of the bands second album, Radio Wars (July 28).

Howling Bells Sign To Nettwerk; Join Coldplay Spring Tour

Australian rock n rollers Howling Bells have officially signed to Nettwerk for North America.

The breakout group is set to release their sophomore album and N. American debut Radio Wars on July 28th in the US and Canada, with their smoldering first single “Cities Burning Down” out June 2nd on iTunes.

They’ll celebrate early by joining Coldplay on their North American tour this May and June.
