Hope Sandoval and The Warm Inventions

Hope Sandoval Debuts On The Billboard Charts; Continues To Wow Audiences Across North America

Hope Sandoval is back on the charts with her first release in eight years. On the heels of rapturous praise from both critics and loyal fans alike, Through The Devil Softly debuts on the Billboard Heatseekers Chart at #6 and tops the Alternative New Artist Album Chart at #1.

The long awaited tour is currently in full swing across North America. With the bands unique and profound performance, the nightly shows have quickly become a must see event.

Recently SF Weekly reflected, “The Warm Inventions summon much of the same dark magic as Mazzy Star, conjuring moody, woozy, and beautiful indie-coustic mesmer-pop that floats like narcotic pollen upon a Twin Peaks evening breeze,” while Seattle Weekly remarked, “Her famously slow, grave voice is genuinely beatific […] Sandoval’s heavenly voice is still the star. You’ll fee like an adolescent in love all over again.” The LA Weekly simply commands, “Close your eyes and let the music possess you,” and Time Out New York confirms what many already know, “Nobody does this style better.”

New From Nettwerk This Week: Hope Sandoval & The Warm Inventions, State Radio

For Hope Sandoval fans, the wait is finally over. Through The Devil Softly, her first full-length album in over eight years (and second with Warm Inventions partner Colm Ó Cíosóig of My Bloody Valentine), is a rich brocade of pastoral meditations that resonate with the kind of restrained yet provocative intimacy that only these two artists can provide. Spin calls the album "...a collection of breathily perfect lullabies," while Pitchfork says "Through The Devil Softly is a quietly enveloping listen...Sandoval's husky voice and worn-down delivery are perfectly served by this open, reverb-heavy, and downtrodden background." Sandoval is taking her storied live show to intimate concert venues across North America, alongside Colm Ó Cíosóig and Irish band Dirt Blue Gene (tour dates below).
