"It's been a long and explorative journey for Hadouken! but tonight's Hottest Record sounds like they have found their natural home. Their position in bass culture is unique, bringing both the live element and credibility in the electronic music field together to create something unique in Bad Signal." - Zane Lowe, BBC Radio 1
On August 7th, Hadouken! will release “Bad Signal,” the latest single from their forthcoming studio album. Hadouken! is the band at the forefront of UK Bass, the most dominant and exciting sound happening on the Isles.
Bass is the underground club sound that has swallowed the mainstream, and as such, is the latest great British youth movement. Best known for their massive live shows, Hadouken! joins producers and DJs such as Chase & Status and Nero at the helm of Bass culture. During the last tour, fans were invited to bring their video cameras and record the performance, which the band stitched together to create and share a single live piece.

Today, Hadouken! premieres their latest single, “Bad Signal” on BBC Radio 1 as Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record in the World! Hadouken! sat down with Zane to discuss the album; joining a pantheon of musicians recently interviewed, such as Muse, Eminem, Mark Hoppus, The Prodigy and more.
Already trending at #3, “Bad Signal” is the follow up track from the upcoming studio album, the first full-length release since 2010’s For The Masses. Previously, Hadouken! offered lead track, “Parasite,” as a free download on their site: www.hadouken.com/parasite. In the space of a month, “Parasite” has received over 60,000 downloads and the official video racked up 150,000 hits and growing.
Set for a series of summer festival dates throughout the UK and Europe (see below), stay tuned for more information on a stateside tour.
In case you missed it, Feed Me's new single "Trapdoor" features Nettwerk label artist Hadouken!. "Trapdoor" builds on a wave of astral synths as they filter in through the track, lifting the vocals up on a bed of melody before unleashing its full force with a maniacal, mechanised baseline that writhes through the core of the track wiring itself around the soft synths and vocal hooks. Play the video above to hear "Trapdoor."
Yesterday, NME.com premiered the video (above) for title track, "Oxygen," from Hadouken!'s forthcoming EP (release date: January 18). The Oxygen EP contains both album and remix versions of the new track and their last single "Mecha Love." Both singles wear Hadouken!’s dance/rock sound on their sleeves and further highlight the band’s position at the cross-section of dance and guitar music.
As previously reported, Hadouken! released their second YouTube creation called “People Are Awesome” on Monday, October 25. Hadouken! is at it again. Last year the UK band put together a YouTube video called "100 Greatest Hits Of YouTube In 4 Minutes" set to their single "M.A.D" from their last album For The Masses. The video currently has more than 7.5 million views. They've unleashed another YouTube creation called "People Are Awesome" and is a comprised of 56 clips of some amazing people doing some impossible and crazy tricks guaranteed to blow your mind!
Each clip exemplifies the extraordinary feats the human body can endure and achieve. Whether it’s the “Urban Ninja” Freerunning, 200-yard gong shots, a Shaolin monk balancing on two thumbs, 20 stair kickflips, or Roger Federer’s trickshot on a studio set, this collection of videos demonstrates that the definition of ‘extreme’ is forever evolving.
