Elephant Revival To Release 'Break In The Clouds' On June 14

“Inspired by bluegrass, fiddle music, Appalachian folk and even hip-hop…Elephant Revival is one of the finest of the young crop of folk artists touring today, and long do I foresee the career of these five unfolding.” —The Huffington Post

Break in the Clouds, the anticipated sophomore album from acclaimed indie acoustic quintet Elephant Revival will be released June 14 on Ruff Shod/Nettwerk Records. This is the follow-up to the Colorado-based band’s celebrated 2008 self-titled debut, which THISisMODERN lauded as, “unlike any other…their debut makes a statement about originality and musicality that is bold and adventurous.” Break in the Clouds is also already receiving critical attention—the Boulder Weekly declares, “The album brims with poised folk ballads, modern Celtic fiddle dirges, hints of blues and Appalachia…coaxing the spirit but slyly avoiding climbing fully into each form’s body.” In support of the new album, the band will tour throughout this spring and summer, including appearances at Desert Rocks Music Festival, High Sierra Music Festival and the Oregon Country Fair.
