Billboard has released their "Best of 2010" charts, and Delerium's hit single "Dust In Gravity" came in at #12 on the "Dance Club Songs" chart. The chart measures the most popular songs played in dance clubs in 2010, compiled from reports from a national sample of club DJs.
"Dust In Gravity," which features vocals by rising Canadian R&B/pop artist Kreesha Turner, is from Delerium's album Remixed: The Definitive Collection. The album featured new and classic remixes spanning Delerium's career. The collection was mixed in entirety by Neils Van Gogh and includes mixes from DJ Dan, Andy Moor, Deep Dish, Above & Beyond and the legendary DJ Tiesto.
Legendary and influential Canadian electronic-duo Delerium are set to release their first ever acoustic album on October 5, entitled Voice: An Acoustic Collection. The album is comprised of previously unreleased versions of Delerium's most memorable tracks, which are beautifully transformed into stripped-down, acoustic renditions that serve justice to their ambient, electronic-pop originals. Delerium’s music has been remixed by some of the best and brightest electronic music producers over the years. The album will appear in both individual tracks and continuous mix format.
This week the brand new video for Delerium's killer single "Dust in Gravity" featuring Kreesha Turner debuted on MuchMusic in Canada. Canadian alt-pop legends Delerium are back with the brand new single “Dust In Gravity” out November 24th on iTunes. The single features Canadian R&B/Pop artist Kreesha Turner, who was recently nominated for two 2009 Juno Awards: New Artist of the Year and Pop Album of the Year.
“Dust In Gravity,” which marks Delerium’s first new single in nearly 4 years, showcases the group’s penchant for combining ambient electronic elements and dance pop beats. The addition of Kreesha’s vocals adds a contemporary R&B flavor to classic Delerium.
