Nettwerk-managed band The Pierces have just released a brand new video for the track "It Will Not Be Forgotten," the 4th single from their latest crtically-acclaimed album You & I(May 2011). The single will be released on Tuesday, August 8.
The Pierces’ "We Are Stars" is KCRW’s Top Tune of the Day today. The Pierce sisters and their band have just wrapped up four packed shows in LA and NYC celebrating the release of their Love You More EP, which features songs from the forthcoming full length release You and I, and boasts production credits from Coldplay’s Guy Berryman and Grammy Award-winning producer Rik Simpson.
Nettwerk is excited to announce the signing of New York-based alt-pop duoThe Pierces to its management roster. The Pierces--sisters Catherine Pierce and Allison Pierce--released their self-titled debut album in 2000, but really caught the attention of music critics and music supervisors with the release of their third album, Thirteen Tales Of Love And Revenge, in 2007.
Produced by Roger Greenawalt (Nils Lofgren, Radish, Ben Kweller), Thirteen Tales Of Love And Revenge had a darker, edgier style, at times using such diverse instruments as an accordion, a calliope, bassoons, a sitar, violins, an autoharp, and a Hawaiian lap steel. It marked a definitive change in the direction of the band, which up until this point had been known as a folk rock band.
On December 5, 2007, The Pierces appeared on Gossip Girl, playing the infectious "Secret" and "Three Wishes". "Secret" was also used in promo spots for 'Dexter,' and is currently the theme song for the new critically acclaimed ABC Family show Pretty Little Liars. Check out the official music video for "Secret" above.

"Easy Come Easy Go" is the first single from New Wild Everywhere and easily the most upbeat and up-tempo track to ever come from Toronto indie folk/rock darlings Great Lake Swimmers. Out April 3, New Wild Everywhere is the follow up to 2009's critically acclaimed, Juno and Polaris-prize nominated album Lost Channels. Their fifth album in just under a decade, this new collection of 12 tracks reveals a depth and maturity previously only hinted at by lead singer and songwriter Tony Dekker.
